MetroTaifun® waste chute system for high-rise buildings, where chutes are used for handling residential and commercial waste. On each floor, there is a chute door for disposing of the waste in the chute. MT-Chute system installations enable inter-storey buffering and simultaneous chute door opening on each floor.
The MT-Chutes diameters available are from ø350mm to ø800mm, depending on the size of the waste bags/sacks used. When using large waste bags, additionally an MT-Formator is required, enabling the waste to be conveyed through a DN 300mm (12”) pipe network.

The MTC-Waste Collection Station for commercial areas consists of a valve chamber, MTC-Waste inlets with MT-Formators, valves and piping as well as an electric cabinet. By using MT-Formators, large waste sacks can be used and they can easily be conveyed through a DN 300mm (12”) pipe network, as well as other material such as packing, cardboard waste, etc. The interim buffering volume is from 0.3m3 to 2m3. Typically, the inlets have automatic doors and are opened with RFID-keys. The MTC-Inlets have been rigorously designed for easy-of-use, safety and cleanliness. Residential and Commercial Inlets can also be combined.

Wall mounted inlets are used along the outside walls of building blocks, flats and high-rise buildings and/or in the building basements. Typically, the inlets have automatic or manual doors and are opened with RFID-keys. The inlets have been rigorously designed for easy-of-use, safety and cleanliness.

The MetroTaifun® System offers solutions for collecting and sorting residential waste bags. The MTR-Waste
Collection stations / inlets are distributed over the waste collection area. These Waste collection stations are
connected to a Waste transfer station through a DN 300mm (12”) pipe network. The MTR-inlets are designed
to compact the waste and move it to a horizontal buffering storage. This is to enable larger volumes of waste
to be held between scheduled collections. The interim buffering volume is from 300 to 900 litres (70 - 200 gal).
The required installation depth is only 1.5m (5ft), resulting in a much easier and faster installation.

At the waste collection stations, the inlet is usually opened with a RFID-key. There are automatic and manual doors available too. MariMatic has designed the inlets to be easy-to use, safe and clean. We have also developed inlets with scales, which enables monitoring a long-term trend in waste amounts collected from each building, or the results used in targeted information campaigns to increase recycling.
There are various kinds of waste collection inlets for residential and commercial areas.
