Concrete Facade Architecture 2017 Award in Finland was granted to B & M Architects Ltd. by project Kruunuvuorenranta Waste Transfer Terminal in Helsinki, where Marimatic Ltd. has delivered the MetroTaifun Automatic Waste Collection System.
According to the jury, the winning work combines architectural design and innovative three-dimensional façade in a remarkable way. The winner building is an excellent example of the use of concrete as a building material – sculptural facade and vibrant colour scheme emphasize the potential of this building material.
